Summer Camping options for Canyon Lake Kids!
When I first planned on writing a post for parents to explore the choices for summer camping for Canyon Lake kids, I was only thinking of the day camps and overnight camps being offered by the many different child-based associations near the lake. Camps offered by the girl scouts or the YMCA or the youth football league, for example. Once I began to form ideas for the post though, I realized that I was leaving out all the camping options for families to spend time together during the summer that are right here at Canyon Lake so I decided to write a series on camping: detailing the options for sending your kids away to summer camp, the many day camps available to keep kids active and engaged during the summer, and on the great summer camping sites for families to spend vacation time together. We will start with Overnight Summer Camps for Kids.
Summer Camps are a rite of passage for many kids and, for many, it is their only experience without the constant supervision of their parents; a time to make new friends and learn new skills-CAMP IS COOL-CAMP IS FUN!!!! There are as many different choices to choose from as there are kids with different interests. There is something offered to interest every child; from science camps to horse camps, from day camps to overnight camps, from religious camps to athletic camps-there is simply something for EVERYONE!
